Using the Law of Attraction
Hi friends! Hope you’re enjoying this series so far! My goal this month is to help you capitalize on all the things we feel and use them for good.
So far, change is happening. On a national level, I’m impressed by all of the changes we’ve seen for the better. I hope it’s inspired you to make changes at home or within your community as well!
Bringing it back to the topic at hand… I’m so excited to share the Law of Attraction with you. Let’s start with the basics!
Using The Law Of Attraction To Get What You Want
If you want to use the power of the Law of Attraction to get what you really want then you need to understand what it is and how it works. Lots of people have heard of the Law of Attraction but they don’t fully understand it and because of this they may believe that it doesn’t work.
The Law of Attraction is real and it does work. But you need to use it properly to get the results that you want. Keep reading to find out what the Law of Attraction is and what it isn’t, as well as how it works in simple terms and how you should use it to manifest what you want.
What is the Law of Attraction?
The Law of Attraction is a universal law that works on the basis that like attracts like. Everything in the Universe vibrates. You can’t see these vibrations with the naked eye but they’re there. Human beings send vibrations to the Universe through their thoughts, feelings and actions.
So if you are someone that is constantly thinking about the lack in your life (things that you don’t have) then the Universe will send you more of this lack because it thinks this is what you want. Conversely, if you send positive thoughts to the Universe then you will get positive things.
The Universe doesn’t distinguish between good and bad. So if you’re always thinking about bad things then you’ll get more bad things. The Universe aligns itself to give you what you want so you need to change your thinking to make it work for you.
The Law of Attraction is not magic. You may have read or seen in movies that all you need to do is to hope that good things will happen to you and they will. It doesn’t work like that. You need to focus on what you want and take action to get it.
How to use the Law of Attraction
The most important thing is to believe that the Law of Attraction works and that you’ll get what you desire. If you don’t have strong belief then it’ll never work for you because you won’t send the right vibrations to the Universe. Your belief needs to be unshakable.
You need to be completely clear on what it is that you really want. Clarity is power and once you have decided what you want then you need to focus on this. Writing down and reflecting on your goals is a good way to do this. This can be done through journaling or scripting.
You need to think that what you really want has already happened in your life. Use visualization to see this thing in your life and experience strong feelings around it. Imagine the joy of having this thing in your life.
Taking action is an essential step to making the Law of Attraction work for you. When you take action towards achieving your goals you send the strongest vibrations to the Universe. The Universe will not just give you what you want through thought alone – you need to take action as well and experience strong feelings in the process.
For me, having firm belief was the part I didn’t get. I’d think I wanted something but then my stomach would turn into knots when I thought of actually getting it. I didn’t realize it at the time but I was sabotaging myself. So I wouldn’t fully go for what I wanted.
If this is happening for you too, I want you to work on your affirmations. The things we say to ourselves matter. We sometimes sabotage ourselves when we don’t think we can actually have what we want.
